Once an Open Water Diver, you will be ready for the PADI Advanced Open water course.
A 2 days course including 5 adventures dives. Deep and Navigation dives are mandatory. In the other options, the most populars on Koh Tao are the Night dive, Wreck, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Naturalist, Fish ID and Multi Level and computer diving. This course will improve not only your knowledge, but it will also give you the chance to dive down to 30m deep. No need for any dive in between your Open Water and the Advanced course, you can go straight for it!
PADI Rescue Diver
Now that you’ve been improving your technics underwater with the AOW, why not taking it even more serious by learning how to save people, how to help a diver with difficulties and the possibility of saving lives?!
The Emergency First Responder will teach you the first and secondary cares to many use on land and once a certified EFR, you will be jumping in the water over the Rescue Course to learn it all in a different environment where skills and technics will be slightly different!
A serious course, but a pretty good laugh as well. It can be completed in 3 to 4 days and no need to do any dives in between the Advanced and the Rescue Course.
And here you are, now a Rescue Diver, ready to enter the Professional Levels!
First step, and a big one as well, the Dive Master Course.
It’s not only an opportunity to be now able to work all around the world as a guide, an assistant on courses or a person who can refresh the skills of divers who didn’t dive for a while. Our Dive Master program can be completed in two weeks, but the good news is that we also offer an unlimited program included unlimited time and dives for god knows how many months you will ending up by spending with us.
Guiding and Briefing, skill circuit, scuba review, deep dive scenario and search and recovery are just a few example of the workshops you will be joining in between the fun dives, the days off or the studying part. Being taking care of by one of our staff only hired to look are our Dive Master in training, with our program, it’s a guarantee to complete with the course with such a good experience.
To begin the Dive Master program, you need to have completed a certain amount of dives, but once again, our unlimited dives program will give you the chance to dive a lot right at the start. When you are ready to join the workshops and other activities, you jump on our organized schedule.
Every 2 weeks, we have a new schedule, giving the chance to each to join a workshop which they might have missed or that they want to do again.
A lot of ambiance, a lot of people around who share the same passion, it will be a time of your life that you will remember forever. Seriously!!!
And why not going big and jumping into the Instructor Development Course!!!
Becoming an Instructor will give you the chance to now teach your passion to others, and again, every where around the world!! Now we are really talking about a Dive Career!!
We have an Instructor every month on Koh Tao, but we are also now offering courses in the Philippines (Malapascua and Bohol), India and Sri Lanka.
An Instructor course takes about 16 days. It’s about knowing how to give an Academic, Confined water and Open Water presentation, but it’s also about knowing your standards and your dive theory. The 16 days will cover it all!
To become an Instructor, you need to have been a diver for at least 6 months and have at least 100 dives.
And it’s not over! You can also become a Master Scuba Diver Trainer meaning that you will become an Instructor in 5 different specialties of your choice, such as Nitrox, Deep, Wreck and many others.
Next step, Staff Instructor! The SI will give you the chance to be able to assist a Course Director on an IDC and help the candidates and much more.
There is a lot to do if you want, but the most important, keep in mind that every single part of it is a simply brilliant adventure.
